Solved! Thanks all Let me summarize
THE PROBLEM: Everytime I tried to install Mandriva 2007.0 from CD, and click "Installation", the computer reboot, and this occured again and again. I've tried to add: pci=nomsi pnpacpi=off pnpbios=off, I got the same symptom. WHAT I DID: - Try to click "Installation -- No ACPI(?)", still failed (thanks Miark) - Do 'sanity check' (thanks Neill): Doing dummy install using 2006 discs: no problem at all, easy installation Doing installation using 2007.0 discs on another computer: success! So, Mandriva 2006 is compatible with my computer but 2007.0 is not? Or 2007.0 disc corrupt? - Check md5sum --> ok! Reburn, the problem didn't go away .. - Try using 'noapic' 'nolapic' 'acpi=off' (thanks Dennis), still .. So, no solution at all. What I did next is doing CD-installation on another computer, save Mandriva 2007.0 files on that computer (that I've downloaded from a Mandriva mirror before). Then, I try doing installaton on the 'problematic' computer using floppy disks (network.img & network-drivers.img) accessing sources from another computer (via FTP). Success! (But, still, I don't know why I could not install via CDs. So, in this case, 2006.0 is better?).
