Hi all, My wife (from HongKong) likes to listen to Chinese radio stations online (big surprise huh?) Currently using WindowsXP for this.
I have tried many times to get this working under Linux with no joy. I have read in the archives a message from "Miark" giving the following advice. URPMI -auto mplayer mplayer-gui mplayerplugin URPMI -a codecs I have tried this. (adding wget because I find it better than curl) [EMAIL PROTECTED] al]# urpmi --wget --auto mplayer mplayer-gui mplayerplugin no package named mplayer-gui [EMAIL PROTECTED] al]# so tried without gui and got: [EMAIL PROTECTED] al]# urpmi --wget --auto mplayer mplayerplugin Some requested packages cannot be installed: mplayer-1.0-1.pre8.13plf2007.0.i586 (due to unsatisfied libdha.so.1.0) mplayerplugin-3.25-2mdv2007.0.i586 (due to missing mplayer-1.0-1.pre8.13plf2007.0.i586) [EMAIL PROTECTED] al]# I thought urpmi was supposed to find what it needed and go get it. I have installed ALL the things from http://easyurpmi.zarb.org so I have all sources available. what can I do next? is there any further information you need me to give you to help me?
