But that's with a GeForce2 Go, right? (AFAIK, no laptops have GeForce2 MX
chipsets...) GeForce2 Go chips aren't quite the same as other GeForce2's,
and don't generally work (I don't think the bin-only drivers from nVidia
work either, unless they've been updated). Unfortunately, I can only
recommend using the vesa driver until this gets fixed.

Surprisingly, I'm using the nv driver on my laptop with standard settings
and X still crashes. It basically hangs and you can't seem anything on the
display of the laptop. http://camera.unix-fu.org/elec/ will show exactly
what I'm talking about, but I haven't had much luck on this laptop with
FreeBSD unfortunately  + X + nv.
