Hi

I not pretty sure about your XFree86 version that you want to install or
configure. Version 3.3.6 or version 4.

This are the XFree86 3.3.6 video adapters supported in that version, but I
don't see your specific adapter on the list:

Hercules Dynamite ...................................... XF86_SVGA
Hercules Dynamite 128/Video ............................ XF86_SVGA
Hercules Dynamite Power ................................ XF86_SVGA
Hercules Dynamite Pro .................................. XF86_SVGA
Hercules Graphite HG210 ................................ XF86_AGX
Hercules Graphite Power ................................ XF86_AGX
Hercules Graphite Pro .................................. XF86_AGX
Hercules Graphite Terminator 64 ........................ XF86_S3
Hercules Graphite Terminator 64/DRAM ................... XF86_S3
Hercules Graphite Terminator Pro 64 .................... XF86_S3
Hercules Stingray ...................................... XF86_SVGA
Hercules Stingray 128 3D ............................... XF86_SVGA
Hercules Stingray 64/V with ICS5342 .................... XF86_SVGA
Hercules Stingray 64/V with ZoomDAC .................... XF86_SVGA
Hercules Stingray Pro .................................. XF86_SVGA
Hercules Stingray Pro/V ................................ XF86_SVGA
Hercules Terminator 3D/DX .............................. XF86_SVGA
Hercules Terminator 64/3D .............................. XF86_SVGA
Hercules Terminator 64/Video ........................... XF86_S3
Hercules Thriller3D .................................... XF86_SVGA

First I will try to install the universal driver XF86_SVGA

For version 4 take a look at the following:

Xf86cfg is a tool to configure XFree86 4.0, and can be used to either write
the initial configuration file or make customizations to the current
configuration.
When the DISPLAY environment variable is not set, xf86cfg will run the
command XFree86 -configure to allow the xserver detect the hardware in the
computer, and write an initial XF86Config file in the user's home directory.
Then, it will start XFree86 and allow customizations.
If the DISPLAY environment variable is set, xf86cfg will read the default
XF86Config, that may not be the same being used by the current server, and
allow customizations.
