Well I have a motherboard with an AMD 761 and Radeon 32 MB DDR. I've compiled and installed 2.4.10 about a dozen times and I've installed X 4.1.0 about the same and I have never gotten them to run correctly. You might get 2D but no 3D accel. The release notes for 2.4.10 show that some specific fixes for AMD 761 agpgart support have gone in but unless you have more free time than I do to fool around with it, I'd wait for a 2.4.10 distro to come out. Maybe that will work. SuSE 7.3 is supposed to have it in mid-October.
