Has anyone had luck getting NumLock to work under XFree86 4.1.0 on a ThinkPad T21? It's proving rather more difficult than a 570E...
I just installed Mandrake 8.1 on a T21, and I can't change screen resolutions because NumLock doesn't work. I've tried assigning NumLock to ScrollLock, which allows me to turn the NumLock light on and off, but which doesn't seem to enable the number pad... I've tried using xkb, xmodmap, ... One strange thing: when I am in text mode and hit Shift-ScrollLock (which is supposed to be NumLock), I get the debug screen, rather than NumLock. I'm delving into the kernel keyboard driver now, but I still wonder whether this might be something that X can solve, or at least whether anyone has seen and solved this before? I'm not subscribed to the mailing list, so pleeeease Cc me on replies. Thanks very very much! -Ben -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hebb.mit.edu/~ben _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
