I don't have an XF86_FBDev server. I've gotten 640x480 with a virtual
screen of 800x600 using VGA16. I didn't see an option for a framebuffer
console when I just went and recompiled my kernel. That may be a linux
only kernel option. At any rate, I'm going to recompile the XF86_SVGA
server with debug symbols and do a trace on the core dump it produces.
I'll send this to XFree86. Maybe a minor adjustment to the already
existing s3_savage driver is all that is needed to get yet another s3 chip
working.
