I've re-installed RedHat 7.2 three times trying to get rid of any pointers to XFree86 
vers 
3.x.x and still have the same problem running startx. It is extremely slow in loading. 
At the 
end of the install when I test the video card and its' resolution (1280x1024 24 bit), 
it just 
displays perfectly and the countdown from 9 sec to zero is in real time and works 
great. 
Red Hat indicates that there is no problem with the install; however, when I use 
startx 
from the command line, it is extremely slow and never really loads completely. I kill 
it 
before the load is complete.
Attached is the result of the "X" command, the "X -probeonly" command, and my 
XFree86-4 config file. 
Anybody have any suggestions as to what is wrong and perhaps a fix.
