        I think that this is a problem with your monitor.  Why, because I have
        successfully used that video card with Redhat 7.0.  I believe that
        version has XFree86 4.0.1-3, but I'm not sure.  Unfortunately, I no
        longer have the card.  If you have another monitor lying around, even
        an old 15' will do, see if you can't get a display on that.

                I tried with a different monitor and still did not work. I work great
                from Windows....
