it's the Evolution theme for Enlightenment.
it's acutally not my preferred user interface. it's just for the sake of
variety. 
when I actually want to get work done, I use FVWM; with a layout just like
the early screenshots. the button layout bears a lot of resemblance to
win3.1, actually. 
I'd take a screenshot of my desktop at work, but there are 
confidentiality reasons that I shouldn't at the moment.
