Hello Marc,

I have read this and I guess I miss understood this as I saw Mach 8 and
mach32 in the main paragraph I didn't read the rest in detail.  From
what you have quoted, the Mach 64 card I have "will not" work with
XFree86 4.1.

I guess I will install 3.3 and work with that until I get a new
computer.

I do ask why the color depth was dropped from 3.x to 4.x?
