Have you tried http://www.linux-laptop.net/. they have details for a couple
of advent's there.

lilo.conf & grub.conf should be in /etc (they are on my redhat box).

apart from that I don't really have a clue now, sorry.

ta lloyd, tried that already...unfortunately it didnt work...:(...added the
vga line as I said, and that didnt work either...one thing I will say
though is that I do get a screen when I plug a monitor inm although its not
exactly fine (Its half at the top, half at the bottom, like the refresh
rate is set wrong...)....So does anyone have any more ideas? Also, where is
the lilo.conf...i cant actually find it?
