The config I sent you specified a 1024x768 resolution. If you only have 800x600 then 
you must
change the mode line.
If you have more than one resolution in your mode line then the largest will be taken 
as virtual
resolution
i.e. if you have
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "1280x1024"
Then the window will be generated for a 1280x1024 "virtual" screen
if you monitor shows only 1024x768 then you will see only part of the screen
