Errrr- wait a minute. You sure you're running the 4.x stuff...? AFAIK -configure is a plain 4.x option, if it bursts out option means it didn't recognize the option, which would lead me into thinking it refers to some 3.3.x stuff. Did u run 3.sth (SomeTHing) b4?
