Hi, Have a look at www.xfree86.org > Support,Documentation and resources > XFree86.4.x.x online documentation > Drivers status for... and then S3 You will find out that the card is supported under some restrictions If, in your case it is not, you should have no problems with v3, try using the SVGA driver... posting both XF86Config file and log (/var/log/XFree86.0.log) would allow people to help.
