There is no provision for Solaris/SPARC in XFree86 4.2. There is the beginnings of such a port in the XFree86 CVS repository. If you wish to continue in this direction, you will need to check out development sources (see http://xfree86.org/cvs). Before proceeding to compile this, please read the relevent notes in xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/Domain.note; and xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/doc/README.Solaris in the checked out sources.
