hi! from the first screen that appears, hold ctrl+alt+F1 and login as root (type root and hit enter and type your password). type vim /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 hit i scroll down to the section where you see the following: "640x480" "800x600" etc in all these lines switch the order; for example, "800x600" "640x400" what you are doing is changing the default resolution of your screen (the first "" is the default resolution) when you are done, hit esc once, then type :w (hit enter) :q (hit enter) hold ctrl+alt+F7 and hold ctrl+alt+backspace hope you can solve it...happy new year! j Ahora pod�s usar Yahoo!
