When I had a GPS12 I seem to remember using gpsbabel to get the data off the
GPS which can then be saved as GPX data ready to be uploaded or used in josm
for offline editing, which I think is what most people use.

Also from what I remember the GPS12 only lets you log about an hours worth
of points before it starts overwriting the start of the track, so don't get
too carried away...

Then I need one of the OpenStreetmap Editors like Josm,Potlatch Merkaartor


I use Josm for most editing & potlach from the website to do minor tweaks.

Is any of the download software compatible with any of the editors? Can

Guess I already answered my choice gpsbabel + josm!
