Yes, I have seen others talk about that. To make sure there were no duplicate ways, I selected the way with a click and then deleted it. If there had been a duplicate way I would have then seen it, right? The data I was editing had originally been created as a GPX track file in another application. I imported it and converted it to a data file for editing. I was then using the split command to separate out pieces to designate as bridges. I don't see how the way could have been duplicated. Heck, there isn't even a copy command, so I can't duplicate ways or nodes when I want to avoid duplication of tag entry! > > I also see inconsistent behavior on adding to a way.
