i am not sure my old eyes could even SEE a r/w switch on a micro-SD card !!! I haven't heard of such, although they are quite common on better SD cards. But if there was one, the GPS would likely object to it, assuming the trackfile is assigned to card. That would be something to check, can the GPS write to it?
