I have a number of apartment complexes to map. For those in other countries who may not be familiar with them, they are a cluster of apartment buildings, with associated parking, some covered, some not, and often additional facilites such as a club room and laundry room which may or may not be in standalone buildings. All of these under the same name and managed by the same corporate entity. Since everything in the complex is associated under a single name, such as "Chesapeake Apartments" I would like to map the area, and then the buildings and amenities within the area which could by declaraition or by default be related to the area.
Is there currently a separate area designation for an apartment complex, as there is for school, for example, or would I need to carve this out as a separate residential land use "island" within the larger residential land use area, in order to name it?
