That's how I'd do it. However, if there's no "back way" around the road/fence crossing, I'd split the road way at the fence and tag the inaccessible part with "access=no". (Or, perhaps, "access=private" if the entity who built the fence might occasionally grant itself access.) > Does the node have to be tagged in some > way?
