Okay... It won't boot off the windows cd's but it will boot off of the linux cd's (weird)...
I stuck in one of my windows boot disks and ran fdisk... I was able to delete the Non-Dos partition, but it won't delete the "Extended dos partition" because it says logical drives exist. I try to delete logical drives but fdisk says there aren't any logical drives to delete. This is why I posted to the list in the first place... I didn't think it was going to be that easy... So, I've also tried booting of my Mandrake cd's... the only options seemed to be install... I hit "F2 for more options" but it doesn't say anything about rescue. Then I tried booting off my redhat cd's... it said, hit F5 for rescue boot... but it doesn't go into rescue... it wants to INSTALL redhat... I don't want to install redhat.... I put my mandrake cd's back in and tried booting... "linux rescue" it worked. So now I am able to get a command prompt, I tried "fdisk /dev/hda". So now I am stuck with a menu similar to windows fdisk but with more functionality. I was able to delete all my partitions using this menu... but everytime I add a partition then view the partitions, it shows it as a linux partition. So... It was easier to get Windows off of my system then it is to get linux off, shouldn't it be the other way around? (I'm frustrated right now.) How do I get windows back on my computer?
