It works! Thanks. I kind of followed the instructions at www.linuxprinting.org. I found that I could not access cups at localhost:631/admin so I reinstalled cups, then downloaded the driver. Everything after that was easy.
KDE print manger works through localhost:631/ incase you ever have to tell a newbie, but the other sight is easy to use.
