I followed Phillip's instruction and got the powernow-k7 module working on
my laptop. Thanks!

I then went to /proc/cpufreq and changed it into powersave mode. I also
turned on "laptop_mode" by changing /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode from a 0 to a
1. I am very happy that my fan is not on all the time after I have made
these changes.

The problem is... ONE of the problems is that when I reboot I have to do
it all again. Why is this not permanent and how do I make it so? Do I
have to write a script?

Also, does anybody know of any good tutorials about putting a Fedora 1
laptop running ACPI into suspend and/or sleep mode? I have not found a
good one yet, but I will keep looking if nobody knows of one.

Nathan
