[newbies] Diff distributions, Linspire

I have fedora right now, and I like it,but its the only one I have tried. What are some other good ones (esp if good for newbies like me), and what are their main differences (pros and cons, etc)? Also, what do most of you use?

I have a friend who uses Linspire, any opinions about that(Linspire)?
