Don't forget urpmi is available if you want to use it, it's basically the same as apt-get in Debian / Fedora / Red(mond) Hat. Also, you need to know that Mandriva (The distribution formally known as Mandrake) is not a "BYU UUG Approved Distro" Meaning that some here and many on the UUG list have formed opinions about Mandrake based on things like the color of the install screen of a version that is long since gone from 99.99999% of the mirrors out there, instead of the actual functionality of the distribution. So you'll have to rely on Bryan and I for support. ;) *Jake hides from Stuart* I'm running a "special club edition" of Mandriva Limited Edition 2005 (aka Mandrake 10.2) with KDE 3.4 and I've been loving it. -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
