Hey,

I've recently installed the latest version of Ubuntu on my computer, and it seems like I'm connected to the network, until I use the internet.  I can ssh with no problem, and I even installed all of the updates (one was even a 18MB file).  When I start up firefox, however, only google works, and it only works some of the time.  I can enter queries and get the results, but when I click on the links to different pages, it never works.  I always get a time out error (eventually).

I noticed some other people had this problem (here) and it seemed like the problem was that his MTU was set to 1500.  I noticed mine was too, but I'm not totally sure this is the problem or how I go about changing it.  Here's the output of /sbin/ifconfig  Any help would be greately appreciated.
