ahh... bureaucratic stuff. ok Some features are proposed by users in JIRA. If the feature is trivial then it is discussed directly in the comments of JIRA ticket; where no trivial is discussed and voted by the wind-team in the NH's wind-dev-list. Some other features, as for example QueryOver, come from contrib projects; how include, what include and how implements the idea in the core is partially discussed and voted by the wind-team in the NH's wind-dev-list, and partially discussed, in private, by wind-team's members as, in this case, Richard Wind Brown, Oren Wind Eini and Fabio Wind Maulo.
The features proposed by wind-team's member are discussed and voted by the wind-team in the NH's wind-dev-list. (you can observe this behavior in various cases in the wind-dev-list history as for example the old linq-provider, the proposal of ConfORM, the remotion of some strongly reference as Castle, log4net, etc. etc.) There are some features that does not need a deep discussion because NHibernate is :".NET port of the excellent Java Hibernate which provides Object/Relational mapping to persist objects in a relational database." These features follows a similar procedure but, this time, in the Hibernate's wind-team. To be short: "Wind" is the second or third name of each NHibernate's team member.
