Really ? They must get all the neat stuff before we do. I had an '82 CB650sc 
and it was still a chain drive bike. Single cam, five speed, cable operated 
clutch. It did have a dual disc front brake though. The foil trim was tacky... 
Nice bike otherwise.The last of the single cam 650's, they used CV carbs and 
overcame the terrible throttle response problems they had with the slide carbs. 
Every market has it's own variations. I like the Euro version of the 750 and 
the earlier one too. The big gas tank and dual brakes of the late one makes it 
a good long-haul bike. Did your market get a version of the six cylinder CBX ?

You are right. I saw a 82 650 for sale and it looked like that one. But the 
650 had already the shaft drive.
