The CBX six cylinder had many shortcomings. You hit most of the big ones,
brakes, suspension, frame flex. I've ridden many of those and as long as you
don't attempt to find it's limits, the reward is an incredible smoothness and a
sound like no other.  By '91, they had improved on the brakes and suspension.
Fork tubes dia increased. It's just the sort of person I am, I'd rather ride
one of those than a new Ducati super wizmo.

I'm not sure wether or not I get confused with this 82 650. Don't find
any
longer the add. Perhaps it was a chain... it was approximately six month
ago... I Just remember thinking "everything is like my 83 650, except the
SOHC engine" and some chroms.

Yes we had the 1000 cbx here in Europe. Not so interesting bike (heavy, bad
brakes, could not take angles in turns). But as one of the only six
cylindres, and a rare bike, has got now a very high price on the market.
Three to five times the price of a 650 CBX (NH). I would not buy one...
would prefer an original 750 K of the seventies.
