Good stuuf, Graham. Next time you are in Seattle or the S.I., we'll have
to get together. You'll have to take a crack at explaining Cricket to me.
I've been through it all about three times now but when we get to the
scoring, my eyes roll up and I faint.

There's some pictures of my smilin' face in this one:

Fantastic piece Dennis. You've seen more of the S.I. than I have. I don't
think I saw any pictures of you though right? We did a ten day tour in a
Newman's caravan back in 1986. You have a keen interest in forestry. My
brother was a forest ranger in the N.Is. Now is a timber contractor in
Indiana. He met a girl there while hitch hiking across the U.S. to be best
man at our wedding in PA. (He stopped over with friends in IN on the way).
Then he wrote to this Indiana girl for two years and then her mother
chaperoned her on a visit to NZ and then I was best man at his wedding. My
parents refused to let our youngest brother out of the country after that.
My parents owned a motel in Turangi (sthn end of Lake Taupo) so I lived in
Hamilton, Turangi and Tauranga.

It feels a little queer to begin and end a letter addressed the same...my
middle is Macphail, so call me Mac. Not oddly I'm a PC guy. I live in
southern California, San Clemente. Just north of Camp Pendelton Marine
Corps base. New Zealand sounds most excellent. Got any pics?

Too Right,
Graham Macphail
