I've got a K&N air filter in my 92 NH750.? How often do they need to be cleaned? One source I saw said every 50K miles. Mine is used in normal (not dusty) conditions, and I've got 25K on it since installation.
Also, to clean them, the instructions I saw were to soak the filter in a tub of soapy water, then turn a gentle garden hose on it to rinse, and let dry. It's a whole day process and I'd rather use Saturday to ride.? ?Is there an easier way? Thanks!
