To each their own and i respect that, however the fact that i own and/or fly a confederate flag does not mean i am a racist nor a bigot. The confederate flag does NOT stand for slavery/hate/racism/klan or anything like that.It is funny how people assume that is what the confederate flag represents. It is Heritage not Hate.can't erase heritage or history.Just like any religous beliefs or politic beliefs my right to own or fly a confederate flag or have Confederate flag decals on my bike is my right and if that bothers anyone thats just too sad too bad.I can understand if someone would not want to ride with me because i have three tattoos which have the Confederate flag in them which i proudly display , that would be their choice ,no love lost and no hard feelings on my part. And just like any religous beliefs or politic beliefs ,whether or not i own/fly Confederate flags has absolutely nothing to do with this group. So on that note i am only going to talk/chat/ type about Nighthawks because that is what this group is about NOT downgrading others about what kind of flags they like or do not like. Have a great day ~ J. Scott

I personally don't fly or own any confederate flags, just U.S. flags. Since I'm neither a racist nor a bigot I prefer to see the rebel flag as a sign of State's Rights (which I do support) rather than slavery/hate/racism/klan/etc. In my neighborhood you're more likely to see the South Vietnam flag flying in defiance of the communists that took their country away from them. However, were I to come into possession of a '69 Dodge Charger I would definitely paint it orange, put a rebel flag on the roof and the 01 on the doors. I'm blonde so I'd have to find a friend with dark curly hair to ride shotgun ;) -Kyle On Wed, Apr 1, 2009 at 10:23 AM, Kyle K.K. <[email protected]> wrote: Question: why fly the CSA's flag?
