Hi, I've actually got two Nighthawks, a '91 250 which I've had since '93 and still runs beautifully, and a '96 750 which has got a variety of problems, primarily new tires and brakes, but I'm sure you hardcore guys could find numerous other things that are out of tune.
The most cosmetic is that I need to replace the seat on the '96 750. Not just a cover as it's been sitting out in the elements with a deteriorating seat cover for a long time and the foam is pretty degraded. I visited a parts site and the seat for Honda : CB750 AC (96) MOTORCYCLE, JPN, VIN# JH2RC381-TM400001 TO JH2RC381-TM400186 lists for over $400. Any suggestions for alternative sources? Used seats, aftermarket, etc? Any suggestions for bike shops in San Francisco that do good work on Nighthawks?
