I would go with talking to a local auto upolstery shop.  I ride a 1996
750 every day and am looking at replacing the seat because the stock
one tends to push you forward.  Which is alright for my 1/2 hour
commute but gets old on longer rides.  Also, even on eBay with
shipping you will pay more than having a "custom" seat done at a good
auto upolstery shop.  I'm looking at a completely customer seat made
to fit me with more padding in the right places for about $100 - way
less than anyone else.  Just make sure they have done motorcycle seats
before.

Ride safe - leave the iPod at home.
