I have a 1984 V45 Magna. No title (yet) and the original owner
started taking things apart to clean the carbs, moved and lost all
the parts. I bought the bike from him. (He lost the title and
Harrisburg here in PA says they have no record of it ever being
titled in PA. A notary is helping me verify that). I bought all the
missing parts off e-Bay and they sit in a box waiting to see if I get
it titled before putting it back together. It's only done 12k miles.
My next door neighbor has a V65 which he brings out once a year,
rides it and puts it away again. His has done 22k miles and is in
great shape. No, he won't sell it to me
