I think you run your rear brakes too tight. A long ride on a tight set-up would
cause wear, short trips don't. Try at least a one inch drop before take-up.
When they are tight, as the rear suspension moves up and down, it applies the
brake. Two-up makes it worse.

I've had both off & just wiped them with a rag.

One thing that's a factor is it's parked outside all-year-round

Thanks for the tip-

I would get a can of brake-clean and spray the disk. There may be just
enough grime on it to make it squeak. The back brake you should inspect. Remove
the back wheel and pull out the brake pads. If there is still enough pad left
clean them with the brake-clean (including the inside drum of course) and
re-assemble.

Another thing that could be causing a front brake squeak is a warped disk
or out-of-alignment tire. HotrodMamma.

My front & back both squeak.

I know there's the silicone stuff to put on disc's.

What do you do for drum's?
