If the squeak is when brakes are applied it's probably grease on the
pads/shoes; it glazes and that's when it will squeak.  Clean the metal with
brake-clean like HRM says and sand the surfaces of the pads and shoes.  When
re-assembling don't get ANY grease or grime on the surfaces.  Clean hands are a
requirement.
This is especially true of old Volvos.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] I'll have to try "Brake-Clean"

I've had both off & just wiped them with a rag.

One thing that's a factor is it's parked outside all-year-round

Thanks for the tip-

I would get a can of brake-clean and spray the disk. There may be just
enough grime on it to make it squeak. The back brake you should inspect. Remove
the back wheel and pull out the brake pads. If there is still enough pad left
clean them with the brake-clean (including the inside drum of course) and
re-assemble.
