I had all of my amalgam fillings replaced last summer. I was getting really
sick and found out that all of my amalgam fillings were cracking and
deteriorating. That's very unsettling considering all of the mercury that was
used in those fillings. HotrodMamma.

Once again, I ask: do you have any amalgam fillings in your mouth? Get them
out. They will cause tinnitis, among other things. It could be the noise of
riding that sets it off. If you want to knopw more I have references and great
detail.
We (a group I am involved with) are about to force the FDA into outright
admission that amalgam fillings are dangerous to human health; and actually,
more so than eating seafood with mercury in it.

I think the best bet would be to see a professional audiologist. They
can help you with the hearing problem. You never know it could be a
sign of a more serious problem.

I had a pair of custom plugs made last year and they work out fine for
me. I wouldn't say they block any more sound then the foam plugs but
they are easy to get in and out and clean.
