Foam ear plugs can be purchased from any Safety Supply Store/ Distributor or places like Northern Tool. For the highest rated plugs a box of 200 pairs cost as little as $19.96 according to my latest Northern Tool catalog. But I bought a box of 100 pairs with cords three years ago for $25.00, that's twenty-five cents each and that will last me the better part of rest of my life. I consume about 4-5 pairs per year. I do wash them several times before they lose their elasticity and that takes 4-5 months to happen. The biggest failure it the cord gets pulled apart and no longer able to tie them to my glasses that I wear under my helmet. Don't mess around buying a few pairs at the inflated prices go directly to a source as mentioned above and buy a box of 100-200 and put them on the shelf next to where you exit the house for your bike, put a few pair in your tank bag, saddle bag, tool bag, hand them out as gifts to your riding buddies. Their dirt cheap and protect your hearing. There's no excuse not to.
