My choice would be the 700s... However, as old bikes are want to be, expect 
some quirks and hard-to-find parts. It will spoil you for anything less.

I've concluded my next motorcycle will be a Nighthawk but must decide
between a 700S '84, a 750 '92 or a 750 2002.  Obviously the
money goes up as the age comes down.  Assuming reasonable condition
