I actually sold my '92 750cc...and recently bought a 700s (1984) ...I will definately say that the 700s is faster, just as manuverable, and the 6speed, and shaft drive are great...not to mention the gas gage...BUT...its not as comfortable to carry a passenger on as the standard Noighthawk....something to consider...the 700s is sportier, but the 92-02 nighthawks are stll nice, and maybe more comfortable.
I loved both styles...and would have to agree with others on this site, that the 1980's models have a lot to offer. I think the 550 model maybe the best for comforts...but i love a lil more power.
