I had to do some "modification" to my HJC. Helmet fit great but
ested on the top of my forehead. To make it worse the HJC has a seam
ight at that point. Solution - dremel tool and grind out about 1/2
nch of the Styrofoam. A friend and fellow rider designs helmets for
ell. I could only wear the helmet for about 200 miles before the
odifications, now I did 550 in a day with no pain - in my head.
Moral of the story - you can fix anything with a dremel, hammer and
uct tape.

I mentioned a week or so ago that I won an eBay bid on a new Nolan N-102
helmet. I was pretty excited even though I was guessing on size. My previous
helmet (a large made by THH) fit me perfectly, so I figured large was my
 size. Hmmmm.

Here's something MOST of you already know: one company's large is another
company's SMALL. It was SUPER tight.

Thankfully the company was EXCELLENT about taking the helmet back and
exchanging it for me. My new size? (Get this) I needed a 2XL. (I still can't
believe it.) But I got my new helmet and it's awesome.

 Come Spring, come!! :)
