I would love to buy a running nighthawk... By current cb250 is just a little underpowered for my 260 butt... Does he have running ones cheep (larger then my 250)???

I am not sure if we got to the bottom of the slow jet size question, but 20 years ago I worked night shift in a CNC milling/machine shop as a second job. I may be rusty but I have a little expierence reading a micrometer. I think you were correct last year when you indicated the #35 slow jet is 0.011" not four times larger at 0.050" . Move the decimal if you want but I think its in the correct place since my mic readings are consitent with the labeling on the wire packages. I can pass a 0.013 wire but not a 0.015 through a #38 Keihin slow jet. So since a #35 is smaller I am deducting the size is closer to the 0.011 then it is to something over 4 times larger at 0.050. If my decimal location is wrong then we are talking about something 10 times smaller in diammeter then 12 # fishing line and that an extremely small hole to try and push fuel through. By the way the bigger slow jets seemed to be working better, I will know more once I get the front end aligned and can test ride it. For those that read this far.. I saw a 700 out side a tire store in Ft Pierce on Tuesday and stopped and talked to the owner Carl. He apparently has a complete parts bike if you need parts and cant find them on E-bay.
