Hello, I've recently just picked up an 1986 cb700sc. As I was riding it the other day and there is a noise coming from the upper left side of the motor (riders position). The noise is not there at idle, lower middle or bottom of the throttle and there is no power loss and/or vibrations. It seems to be there @ 3-5k RPM's. It is not a knocking sound. To me it sounds as if it has a bad valve or something is loose.
