Icarus, I've used Shell Rotella, Pennzoil or Castrol Texion 15W40 diesel certified oil for the last 25 years of riding in a variety of air cooled machines. 15W40 does meet the Honda OEM spec for the Nighthawk 750 especially in an area like yours during hot weather. That said, I'm told m/c spec synthetics are excellent - it is important that they assist in clutch engagement.
All the best - ride it safe. Dave J '03 Nighthawk 750 On Apr 5, 7:25 pm, Icarus <[email protected]> wrote: > Well, my filters came in. > I'm about to go get some oil.
