Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] battery issue
Hey All,
Took a nice, long ride today but left the lights on at my sisters.
Tried to
jump the bike with cables and my brother in law's truck (without
starting
truck). Wouldn't even turn over. Check and rechecked to see
jumper cables
connected properly. Still nothing. Get it started with a push
start, ride
50 miles home at 55/60 mph most of the way. Pull up my drive, turn
off the
bike and click, click, bike is turning over (barely). Shouldn't
that long
of a ride have been enough time to recharge the battery at those
speeds?
And why wouldn't the jump from his truck have at least turned the
bike over
(the lights did come on)?
Any ideas? Battery getting to0 bad to hold a charge?
Thanks for any input,
Keith
