I did the same thing recently on my CB750 SOHC, seems like I ruined a brand
new AGM battery... I get 12 volts after charging. but it still wont crank
over, holding a voltmeter to it when hitting the starter it drops to 3
volts.

She'll kick over fine and that how I've been getting around... I lost my
receipt and don't have $75 for a new battery.

I've been told I was lucky I didn't fry my coils, but I wonder if something
else didn't get messed up from just leaving the lights on and key in run
position?
