Hi Joey - absolutely NO need to apoligize - my error.
The bike simply is not burning the fuel - the plug is wet when pulled from the cylinder - and it's EITHER 3 or 4 - NEVER both - and happens to number 3 more than 4 - how strange is that?
For example, I went home for lunch today to check on the dog - bike was weak - sluggish -- pulled the number 3 plug out when I got home (after a 10 minute ride) - it was black and sooty - 4 was wet - dried it off - took a bit of emery cloth to it and it ran better, but still not 100%.
In addition to the carbs being cleaned/adjusted, the shop also flushed the tank and put an in-line filter between the petcock and the carbs, to curb any debris from entering the carbs. This was only done a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think the carbs are dirty - seems to be electrical?
Ron
Apologies to ask this - but - Flooding of the cylinders is literally
too much fuel going into them - but that doesn't seem to be what your
question is asking - what exactly is the bike doing - cylinders 3 and
4 are running too rich? Fouling plugs?
Thanks!
